Summer Camps at The Rooms!

Back by popular demand!

Adventures await! The Rooms will offer 5-day camps that will run this summer for 6 weeks! 

Camps are suited for children going into grade 1 – grade 8 in September 2023. Each week is full of exploration, creativity, and fun! Activities focus on creative expression through daily themes as campers find inspiration in exhibitions and collections. Registration opens March 16 at 10:00 am. Please call 757-8090 to register.
 

Campers will:
 

  • Explore a variety of materials and media related to drawing, painting, printmaking, and sculpting

  • Spend time engaging with objects, reproduction artifacts, and journaling

  • Visit art exhibitions, museum galleries, archives, and behind the scenes vaults

  • Participate in outdoor games and creative movement activities

  • Experience hands-on fun with history, music, and nature

  • Learn art and heritage skills from special guests

2023 Dates:

July 10 – 14 (Grades 1 – 3) FULL
July 17 – 21 (Grades 4 – 6) FULL
July 31 – August 4 (Grades 7- 8)
 

August 7 – 11 (Grades 1 – 3) FULL
August 14 – 18 (Grades 4 - 6) FULL
August 21 – 25 (Grades 1 - 3) FULL



CAMP DETAILS:

  • Sessions run Monday – Friday 9 am – 4 pm (drop off between 8:30 am and 9 am and pick up between 4 pm and 4:30 pm)

  • Cost: $225 per week

  • 10% Discount for Rooms Members (Member Number Required)
