Using copies of archival documents, artifact reproductions, and exhibition interactives, student learn about the battlefield experiences and daily life of soldiers who served during the First World War. This program includes hands-on research in the Provincial Archives reference room as well as a visit to the exhibition: Beaumount-Hamel and the Trail of the Caribou: Newfoundlanders and Labradorians at War and at Home 1914-1949.

This program is can be adapted to meet the curriculum of Grade 7 through 12.
