Using copies of archival documents, artifact reproductions and exhibition interactives, students learn about battlefield experiences and the daily lives of Newfoundland and Labrador soldiers who served during the First World War. This program includes hands-on research in the Provincial Archives reference room as well as a visit to the exhibition Beaumount-Hamel and the Trail of the Caribou: Newfoundlanders and Labradorians at War and at Home 1914-1949.

This program can be adapted to meet the curriculum outcomes of Grades 8 through 12. One class per booking.
