Soldiers’ Stories: Newfoundlanders and Labradorians at War (Grades 8 – 12)

Using archival documents, artifact reproductions and exhibition activities, students learn about the battlefield experiences and daily life of soldiers who served during the First World War.  The program includes a visit to our new permanent exhibition:  Beaumont-Hamel and The Trail of the Caribou: Newfoundlanders and Labradorians at War and at Home 1914 – 1949 as well as hands-on research in The Rooms Provincial Archives Reference Room.
