In this hands-on program, students experience life before electricity.  Through a series of activities, students will get an appreciation of what it was like to wash clothes, attend a one-room school, hook a rug, and compare technology of today with that of 100 years or more ago.   This program includes a visit to two museum exhibitions:  From This Place:  Our Lives on Land and Sea and Here, We Made a Home.
