Pierre Huyghe: A Journey That Wasn’t
On loan from the National Gallery of Canada, this 25-minute colour film by renowned French artist Pierre Huyghe, whose work navigates between fact and fiction, merges an Antarctic expedition in search of a rumoured albino creature and a re-enactment of that voyage as an elaborate concert and lightshow in Central Park. Part nature documentary, part science fiction movie and part musical, the film leaves us to decide whether the journey happened at all.
