One class . . . five days . . .
countless opportunities to
explore.
Chevron Open Minds at The Rooms
provides teachers with the
opportunity to move their
classroom to The Rooms for an
entire week. The program is
based on the Open Minds
education concept, which
emphasizes the value of allowing
students to slow down and become
immersed in new and engaging
learning environments. Students
participate in a curriculum
based, interdisciplinary program
developed by their teacher in
consultation with The Rooms
educator. Each week is unique
and is based on the needs of the
teacher and students.
There is a $500 per class fee
for the week long Chevron Open
Minds at The Rooms program.
This fee includes all busing to
and from school to The Rooms,
notebooks for journal writing
and sketching, and any
additional programming costs
associated with each particular
program. The Rooms, with the
generous support of Chevron
Canada, is pleased to offer 24
weeks of Chevron Open Minds at
The Rooms programs for the
upcoming 2011/2012 year.
