The Rooms Corporate Boardroom:
The Rooms Corporate Board Room welcomes you with a stunning view of St. John's and its Harbour. Fully multi- media capable, The Rooms Board Rooms seats up to 22 people comfortably and provides an exquisite setting for your next business meeting or retreat.
Please Note: The Rooms Board Room is available for booking during The Rooms public hours of operation based on availability.
The Rooms Theatre:
 An impressive space, The Rooms Lecture Theatre is fully multi-media capable, wheelchair accessible, and can seat 121 people in lecture-style, cascading seating.

The Rooms Café:
Operated by Red Oak, the Rooms Café can also serve as an exquisite location for your next business dinner or cocktail party. Perfect for small group functions and dinners, The Rooms Café can beautifully accommodate a stand-up reception of 120 people, or a sit-down dinner for 60 people.
Please Note: The Rooms Cafe is used by our visiting public during our regular hours of operation; The Rooms Café is only available for rental when The Rooms is closed to the public.
The Rooms Multi-level Atrium:
 With a panoramic view of St John's and its Harbour, The Rooms multi-level atrium can host receptions and events of varying scales and can meet the most impeccable tastes.
Level III
Looking out over breath-taking St. John's Harbour, the Level III portion of our atrium can host events of varying scales and to suit a variety of tastes and expectations. Level III is the perfect location for a stand-up reception of up to 500 people. Or if a sit-down dinner better suits your needs, Level III can accommodate a dinner event of up to 140 people.
Level II & III
Planning for something a little larger in scale? For a more dramatic effect, Levels II and III of the multi-level atrium can host events of up to 700 for a stand-up reception, presenting the ideal location to dazzle your colleges or guests.
Levels II, III & IV
With the ability to accommodate over 700 people, The Rooms is a breath-taking and unique location for a reception and has the capability to suit a multitude of needs and expectations.
Please Note: The Rooms is a public building and is used by our visiting public during our regular hours of operation, therefore, our multi-level atrium is only available for rental when we are closed to the public.
Some things to keep in mind when thinking of The Rooms for your next function:
- The Rooms is a public building with public hours of operation. Consequently, rental functions and their varying needs for set-up cannot access the building until 5:30 pm. This also means that to prepare the building for opening to the public in the morning, all functions must conclude no later than 10:30 pm, for an 11 pm exit.
- Please note that The Rooms exhibition galleries are not open during rental events. However, if you wish to have the exhibition galleries open during your event; that can be arranged for at an additional fee.
- When renting the entire facility (Levels II III, & IV), the exhibition galleries must be rented as well.
- Due to conservation reasons, live, cut, or potted plants and/or flowers are not permitted in The Rooms.
- Candles and/or open flames of any kind are not permitted in The Rooms.
- The Rooms does not provide Audio/Visual or Information Technology support. Atlantic Audio/Visual is the exclusive Audio/Visual provider for The Rooms and must be used for rental with Audio/Visual requirements.
- The Internet in not available in The Rooms Theatre or Corporate Board Room.
