[ Home | Intro 1 | Intro 2 | What's New? ]
On this site you will have access to a wide variety of images,
texts, video and audio clips, and links all related to the salt-fish processing industry
and way of life that were the backbone of Newfoundland for over 400 years.
Navigating this site is simple. To your
left is a button bar of sub pages that takes you to the main sections of our site.
These explore the Newfoundland and Labrador salt fisheries.
At the top right are three navigation tabs that provide access to different
features of the site: the glossary, the guestbook and the feedback form. The
glossary provides definitions for many terms related to the salt fishery found on the
site, but we also have a new glossary feature: instant pop-up definitions in our various
sections.
