History
Jerry's Nose may have been name after some forgotten inhabitant , or "Jerry" could be a corruption of the surname Jesso, the only family name to have been recorded in the community. The people, likely descendants of Alexander Jesso, an Acadian from Cape Breton, fished mainly for lobster.
