STILL IMAGES - DIGITAL REPRODUCTION INFORMATION
The Still Images collection at the Provincial Archives contains more than 400,000 photographic items including not only a large collection of photographic prints, but also approximately 14,000 glass plate negatives. The collection also contains a quantity of examples of earlier forms of photographic materials, such as tintypes, daguerreotypes, ambrotypes and glass lantern slides.
Digital Reproduction Order Form
The order form can be printed and sent by mail to the address provided on the form or faxed using the fax number provided.
Please note that permission must be obtained from the Still Images Section before any photographic materials are used for publication. If you intend to publish an image, please check the copyright status before you place your order.

Images Output to Paper
Scanned at 100% (actual image size) at a minimum of 600DPI or higher depending on the original image size (.tif format).
Images measuring 8" x 10" and under are $20.00 each
Images measuring between 8" x 10" and 12" x 18" are $30.00
The Rooms Provincial Archives does not offer photo reproductions larger than 12" x 18".
Images Output to CD
Scanned at 100% (actual image size) at a minimum of 600DPI, or higher depending on the original image size (.tif format).
Price per image - $20.00
Please note that an additional $1.00 fee will be charged for each additional CD used to fill the order.
Images Output to Email
Scanned at 100% (actual image size) at a maximum of 300DPI (.jpeg format)
Price per emailed image - $20.00
Order Delivery Options
Completed orders can be picked up at the Rooms Admission Desk, Level One.
Completed orders can be sent upon completion via regular postal mail or by courier. The client must provide a Canada Post Priority, Fedex or Purolator number to avail of courier service.
Postage Charges:
Postage Charged for Images Output to Paper --- Canadian Orders
A $5.00 fee will be applied for postage to all areas within Canada for a maximum of 10 images output to paper. For each additional image another $1.00 will be charged.
Postage Charged for Delivery of Images Output to Paper --- International Orders
A $12.00 fee will be applied for postage on all International Orders to a maximum of 10 images output to paper. For each additional image another $1.00 will be charged.
Postage Charged for Images Output to CD--- Canadian Orders
A $5.00 fee will be applied for postage to all locations within Canada
For each additional CD another $1.00 will be charged
Postage Charged for Images Output to CD --- International Orders
A $12.00 fee will be applied for postage on all International Orders.
For each additional CD another $1.00 will be charged.

Order Completion Times and Payment Options
Regular Orders
Usually completed within 10 working days from receipt of order.
Additional processing time may be required depending on order size and staff workloads.
Rush Service
Usually completed within 5 workings days from receipt of order.
Rush service is double the price of the regular order, and this service is subject to availability. Please call (709) 757-8067 to confirm availability.
Payment
Researchers visiting the Rooms must make all payments at the Rooms Admissions Desk, Level One. Cash, Debit, Visa or MasterCard are accepted.
Distance clients unable to visit the Rooms can make payment by certified cheque, money order, Visa or MasterCard. Please telephone the Still Images Section of the Provincial Archives at

Third-party Billing
Third-party billing must be approved. Please include P. O. number with completed digital order form.
NB: DIGITAL ORDERS MUST BE PREPAID BEFORE SHIPMENT.
